What happens to what you send us
Last updated 2026-10-16
Munivision is a reporting service built and operated by CloudSolved IT. This page says, plainly, what happens to the exports you send, what this website does and does not do, and how to have your data deleted. If anything here is unclear, ask at demo@muni-vision.com.
This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no visitor tracking or statistics, and loads nothing from any other website — every page is self-contained.
It is hosted on Microsoft Azure, which handles the technical details needed to deliver a page (such as your IP address) the way any web host does.
When you email us an export
Your email arrives in our Microsoft 365 mailbox at demo@muni-vision.com.
We record your email address, its domain, the names of the files you sent, when you sent them, and the town named in the export. We use these to run the service: to send your report back to you, to limit how often one address can submit, and so our team can follow up with you about Munivision.
What we keep
The files you send, the versions we convert them into, and the report data built from them are retained by CloudSolved in private storage. We keep them to run and improve the service — for example, so that exports from more accounting systems read correctly.
They are not published, and they are not sold or shared with anyone outside CloudSolved.
Your report link
Your report comes back as a private link that works for 5 days. The link carries no password or storage key: each time it is opened, our link service issues a short-lived key for that one report, and may record that it was opened.
We can withdraw a link at any time; a withdrawn link stops working.
What a report shows
Reports show fund and object-class rollups only: nothing below the public transparency line ever appears in a report. Munivision restates the figures in your export; it does not audit them.
Deleting your data
Email demo@muni-vision.com and we will delete your submissions: the files, the converted versions, the report data built for you, the record of your submission, and the email you sent. We find them by your email address, so write from the address you submitted from, or tell us which one. Figures already filed into a town's own financial record stay there: they are the town's figures and hold nothing about you. We keep your request and a note that the deletion was made; the note holds nothing that identifies you.
Handled the way municipal data should be
- No account-level detail exposed — fund and object-class rollups only.
- Submitted exports are retained by CloudSolved; generated report links are private and self-expiring.
- Report links are private to your email and self-expiring.
- This is an evaluation service, not a system of record.
